It's 340pm and 2 out of the 3 kids under 3 (years old) are napping. It's such a relief that E can sleep up to 3 hours in the afternoon, and luckily he slept straight away after his milk despite being convinced he wasn't ready for a nap. I told him I didn't care and if he wasn't tired he would just have quiet time while i slept.

I'm feeling sleepy after lunch, and falling asleep while sitting on the sofa, while A is lying asleep on my tummy and lap. He likes sleeping on his tummy but only on me, when i try it on the bed he just complains and wriggles. Hopefully he'll like it eventually and sleep soundly ( Read more... )

Today baby A is 8 weeks old. We went for a check up and he's now 4.9kg and 57.5cm, up from 3.6kg 3 weeks ago, and 3kg (slightly below his birth weight) when he left the hospital.

He's doing pretty well, although he fusses quite a bit getting himself to sleep. When he's out he sleeps all the time and won't take much milk, so it's actually easy on us ( Read more... )

It's been almost 3 months since I've stopped working, and it all feels so foreign to me now. I miss a few of my colleagues, but I definitely don't miss the work.
